We will be in historical downtown Las Vegas shortly to report on the Consumer Electronics Show for our sister blog “Technology Report”.
This is a great view of downtown Las Vegas with the Sal Segev (Las Vegas backwards!) in the foreground spelled backwards.
The Sal Segev was home to the Golden Gate Casino. The property is now known as the Golden Gate Hotel and it maintains a claim as the oldest of the Las Vegas Hotels.
The Golden Gate remains located at ONE Fremont Street. A recent a multimillion dollar renovation has restored some of the past glory of the property, which still uses Las Vegas history as a marketing theme. See more about the Golden Gate Hotel and Casino at http://www.GoldenGateCasino.com
